The 70’s were all about “relationships,” and “Goodbye” is a song about the end of such a relationship…in a breezy 70’s style.

We modeled the song on Fleetwood Mac of course, the band which recorded its most popular album with two couples within the band simultaneously breaking up. Imagine those recording sessions, the accusations and recriminations, and did we mention the mountains of cocaine?
