about

“I Shall be Re-Released” is the ninth song from the continually growing and evolving Vanilla “Sideshow” album.

Imagine a musical version of the Resurrection where songs have eternal life and keep coming back again and again (in box sets, special editions, colored vinyl, remixes, etc) —where good *songs* alone are saved in the rapturous events and the listeners are left behind! As Dylan said, this could happen “any day now” - heck, it’s already happening.

The “Sideshow” album will grow from one song to many over the next year as a digital-only album, and when it’s complete it will be released on CD or as an LP.

lyrics

I shall be re-released
Oh that’s sure
Oh that’s sure
I have seen the last and least
I’m coming through the door

Think about the songs
All the ones that you have heard
They will pass along
And will not be deferred.

When the hour is right
In the twinkling of an eye
They will all take flight
And float into the sky

From their lofty perch
They will say their last goodbye
And while we weep in church
They shall never die
