Here we take on the Power Ballad—a style which originated in the 70’s characterized by a soft lyrical approach that rises swiftly to a heavier, rock intensity. We grew up listening to Elton John, Aerosmith, Styx, Chicago, and many of the artists that pioneered the style, which still carries on to this day. Break out your lighters!
