This is “The Secret,” the 12th song in Vanilla’s “Pish Posh” assortment. Sometimes you just need to step up and take care of business without dragging everyone else into a problem—minimize the drama, fix the headaches and move on!

This is the second track from Vanilla’s Hyde Street Studios sessions recorded in San Francisco, CA, featuring the Tubes’ Prairie Prince on drums.

Could anyone notice
My look or my motive one glance could give it away

Should I get discovered and the secrets uncovered it could set the sun on this day

I’ll hide this story, refrain from the glory and keep what you can’t buy

No rhyme no reason, you can hang me up for treason. I’ve never been a patron saint. If it’s the secrets you want, don’t try to taunt me, cause all you’re gonna get is restraint

Ducking, weaving, thought concealing a well planned subterfuge
